We’ll be making a woven handle hand broom perfect for clearing small spaces in your home and helping make space for this new season1 This class is perfect for learning the craft or deepening your skill. It will prep you for the more advanced broom making classes to follow later in the month.

about the class
In this class, students will create a hen wing broom with a wrapped handle. It is a great class for beginners in broom making and sets them up to take future classes with an understanding of the process and a feel for materials. Class time is 3 hours, give or take.
about the artist
Danielle Ashner, born in 1987 on October 30, is a Kansas City based artist. She graduated from KU with a bachelors degree in fine art with a minor in art history. She is presently working in the mediums of broom making and ceramics. Her work tends to be primarily influenced by an adoration of earth, planets, anthropology, metaphysical themes, and esotericism. Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent two days before the class if the minimum is not met. In case of the shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Student cancellations or no-shows can not be refunded.
