intuitive painting: an acrylics workshop

$55.00

This beginner friendly acrylic workshop is centered around intuitive painting and the idea that panting can be healing for your nervous system. Creating can help you gain perspective and clear out an over active brain. Sometimes you just need to slow down and “paint the roses.”

Participants will explore elements like clouds, florals, water, soft landscapes, or abstract forms while learning blending, layering, and how to create light and depth. They’ll also be encouraged to choose colors that feel personal to them, allowing each piece to reflect their own mood and style.

This class is designed to feel like a creative reset for people. It’s a great opportunity to get out with the people you love and create something new.

about the artist

Madison Langer is a Kansas City-based self-taught artist, originally from Oklahoma City. Her work is largely inspired by skies, open landscapes, and quiet moments in nature. She’s drawn to the way light moves through clouds and across wide horizons, and she tries to capture that feeling of calm and openness in her paintings.

She began painting during a time of personal change, and over time developed a more intuitive approach focusing on soft blends, movement, and emotional depth rather than rigid technique. Painting has become a grounding and healing practice for Madison, and that intention carries into my work.

Through both her art and teaching, she hopes to make painting feel approachable and meaningful, encouraging others to slow down, trust their instincts, and reconnect with their own creativity.
