about the class

Learn about the properties of different herbs and how to blend them for intention and aroma in this handmade incense class. Each participant will create five custom cones to take home—perfect for cleansing, grounding, or simply enjoying the soothing scents of natural incense.

about the artist

River North is a multidisciplinary queer artist, animist, and rune worker. With a background in herbalism and Nordic animist practices, River bridges many expressions of her artistry through ritual creation of usable goods like incense and bath salts, as well as wearable spells and contemplative runic art. Her work with runes has been more than seven years in solo contemplation and study before emerging into public work; her herbcraft has been a practice since childhood, tending her mother's herb garden, to clinical herbal tutelage, and now in magical workings with plants.

Cancellation Policy

Classes require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent two days before the class if the minimum is not met. In case of the shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Student cancellations or no-shows can not be refunded.
