about the artist

Jordan North is a multidisciplinary queer artist, animist, and rune worker. With a background in herbalism and Nordic animist practices, Jordan bridges many expressions of her artistry through ritual creation of usable goods like incense and bath salts, as well as wearable spells and contemplative runic art. Her work with runes has been more than seven years in solo contemplation and study before emerging into public work; her herbcraft has been a practice since childhood, tending her mother's herb garden, to clinical herbal tutelage, and now in magical workings with plants. All of this combines in her work under Arbor Wild.
