Summer Camp: Weaving - June 2-5
In this full-day camp that spans four days, students will discover the craft of weaving, the beauty of natural fibers and the magic of plant dyeing. Working with wool, cotton, and other natural materials, children will begin by dyeing all the fiber to be used in their weavings. Then they will learn to warp a loom and weave their own tapestry wall-hanging—a beautiful piece they’ll surely treasure!
Daily nature walks will inspire creativity and provide opportunities to gather materials to incorporate into their weavings, fostering a deep connection to the natural world.
